A dream project is any project you have always wanted to complete in your life, but have not yet accomplished.
It can be altruistic (starting an after-school program) or it can be self-serving (wanting to travel the globe).
We personally believe that all dreams are important -- both altruistic and self-serving alike.

Does Life Unchained also directly fund projects?
Life Unchained regularly selects up to 20 projects each year to fund through its own fund-raising. While we will do everything in our power to connect people to your dream project via our site, we also select up to 20 projects annually to fund on our own through dollar-for-dollar matching, as well.
The criteria for funding:
1.) The project must better the world and help others
2.) It must be a first-time, grassroots project in the community or first-time program of an existing organization
3.) The project must help remove roadblocks from others' lives so that they can pursue their own dreams.

What sorts of projects has Life Unchained funded?
Life Unchained has funded a great variety of projects from homeless programs to after-school programs, community centers, first-time non-profits, street clean-up efforts, and much more.
Any first-time charitable effort in the community is something we, as a non-profit, are interested in learning more about and possibly funding through our dollar-for-dollar matching program.
